Description
Easy Deviled Eggs with a creamy filling featuring smoked turkey bacon and a splash of vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), perfect for any occasion with a nostalgic taste and modern twist.
Ingredients
Scale
Eggs
- 6 large eggs
Filling
- 3 tbsp plant-based mayonnaise
- 2 slices smoked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 tsp vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (natural)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (natural)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Garnish
- Paprika (natural), for sprinkling
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
- Boil and Prepare the Eggs: Place large eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a gentle boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and cover for 12 minutes. Transfer eggs to ice water to cool and stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel the eggs carefully to keep the whites intact.
- Slice and Scoop the Yolks: Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out the yolks and place them in a medium bowl, setting the whites aside for filling.
- Prepare the Filling: Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add plant-based mayonnaise, chopped smoked turkey bacon, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), Dijon mustard (natural), apple cider vinegar (natural), salt, and pepper. Mix everything until creamy and well combined.
- Fill the Egg Whites: Using a spoon or piping bag, carefully fill each egg white half with the prepared yolk mixture. Aim for a smooth, even layer that beautifully contrasts with the white surrounding.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle each filled egg with a dash of paprika (natural) and garnish with chopped fresh chives for an inviting look and fresh flavor. Serve immediately or chill until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- Use slightly older eggs for easier peeling.
- Cool eggs thoroughly in ice water to ensure clean peeling and firm texture.
- A piping bag helps create a neat and attractive filling presentation.
- Adjust creaminess by adding more plant-based mayonnaise or a splash of apple cider vinegar (natural) as needed.
- Prepare filling ahead and fill eggs just before serving to keep fresh.
